This is the Cube Smart Storage Unit Double Lock Guard for the Chateau Locks. This product is Laser Cut from Hardened Steel and is Powder Coated Bright Orange. The Powder Coating is there for two purposes. It protects the product from rust and the weather. As you can see from the demonstration above. You can simply install the laser cut hardend steel double lock guard on your Cube Smart storage unit knowing that your valubles will be safe. The HARD-E-NUFF double lock guard does many things when installed properly. The first thing is that it protects the HASP (the locking mechanism) from being cut with bolt cutters. If you are using the Master Lock M40XD it greatly reduces the shackle exposer so that the bolt cutters can not be used on the Master Lock. The Master Lock M50XD is to big and is NOT recommended for any storage units, as the shackle is exposed to bolt cutters. The bright and glow in the dark powder coated colors are a deterant to any thief looking to break into your Cube Smart storage unit, they will simply move on to the next unit.
Master Lock M40XD
The Master Lock M40XD is the only recommended lock HARD-E-NUFF suggests for the Cube Smart Storage unit. If you are going to buy ONE, you should buy a PAIR of them and put both locks into the Cube Smart Storage HASP. Double the protection will keep the thieves away, and keep your Cube Smart storage unit safe.
